The Road to Balance

Day One

The process begins on day 1 with a painless introduction to several "different" ways of looking at health. You will undergo an examination that may be a little different from what you are accustomed. Well, sit back and enjoy the experience. I think you will find it well worth the time.

Your first visit in our office will take approximately one hour. Our goal is to determine your health status and your present "imbalances".

First you will meet with one our doctors who will go over your completed questionnaire and perform a history and physical examination. During this your doctor will perform some muscle tests. These tests are a type of applied kinesiology and is simply to determine your body's most pressing need and give us a better understanding of you present health.

After this is completed you will undergo a computerized analysis of your body's electrical system. This technology is known as BioElectricStessTesting also known as B.E.S.T. Some have heard of it as electrodermal testing. In short by measuring resistence along established acupuncture meridians or circuits, we can identify imbalances in many systems in your body. These can include nutritional status, allergies, toxic metals, infectious organisms, circulation, etc.

Day Two

On day two, you will meet with your doctor and review all that we have found in our initial testing. We call this a "Review of Findings Evaluation" It is here that we will present to you a therapeutic program or "game plan" if you will. We will discuss time frames, therapies, additional diagnostic tests if needed, etc. Typically this program will encompass approximately 6 months. We find that if a patient commits to a prearranged program, the success rate is much higher.

If we cannot complete both the initial evaluation and the BEST test on the same day, the BEST test will be scheduled for a second day and the review of findings evaluation a third day.
